TLS Series - 2219 Intermittent Motion L-Seal System Wrapping Stacks of Paper

Texwrap’s standard line of sealers are designed for L-seal applications where speed and rugged reliability are prime considerations. Built to the same exacting standards as our high speed wrappers, these versatile units are capable of wrapping up to 50 pieces per minute when combined with the proper infeed.

Please note that the infeed conveyor does not stop while we're sealing, which helps to prevent shingling of the product. Typically, you would not be feeding it by hand as we are doing in this demonstration. Instead, you should use a lug infeed system that paces the product and keeps it stabilized during the transfer process. As you can see, the product moves nicely and stays straight throughout the process.

Hi, I'm Dan Frederick with Texwrap. You've just seen a video demonstrating our 2219 Automatic L-Sealer. In the video, the conveyor does not stop while the seal head comes down, allowing the belt to keep running. This feature helps prevent shingling of the product. For your system, we propose using a lug infeed. The lug or flight pushes the product onto the belt, and side guides keep the product square as it moves along. This setup ensures that the product remains stable and prevents shingling, resulting in a nice, square package as it goes through the sealer.

We sealed a few products as an example. The size of the bag will vary depending on the number of products and the height of your stack. To get the correct amount of shrink, you may need to size the bag accordingly or use a chipboard back if necessary. Let me show you how easy it is to shrink the product. Nothing magical about it – just the right size bag for the product.

That's the demonstration for you. We were running at a pretty good speed, likely in the high 30s for production. If you have any other questions, please call us at Texwrap. Have a good day!
